Who I am
Koobsie Admin Co is the virtual assistance practice of Kobie Abrie, based in Somerset West, South Africa. For the purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), Kobie Abrie is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website. You can reach me on WhatsApp at +27 82 560 6488.
What I collect
I only collect information you choose to share with me: your name, contact details (such as your phone number or email address), your business name, and anything you tell me about your admin needs when you message me on WhatsApp, connect on LinkedIn, request the 15-Minute Admin Audit checklist, or complete an enquiry form on this site. This website does not use advertising trackers or analytics that profile you.
How I use it
I use your information to respond to your enquiry, send you the resources you asked for, arrange discovery calls, and, if we work together, to deliver virtual assistance services to you. If you request the free checklist, I may follow up once or twice to hear how it went. I do not send marketing blasts, and you can ask me to stop contacting you at any time.
When I work inside your business
As a virtual assistant, clients often give me access to inboxes, diaries, documents and financial admin. I treat everything I see as strictly confidential, use it only to do the work you have asked me to do, and hand back or delete it when our work together ends. Where needed, I am happy to sign a confidentiality or operator agreement.
Sharing
I never sell or rent your information. I only share it with the service providers that make this website and my communication work, such as my website hosting provider, WhatsApp (Meta) when you message me there, and LinkedIn if you connect with me on that platform. Each of those services has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle your data.
Cookies
This website only uses the essential cookies WordPress needs to function. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking pixels.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry details only as long as needed to help you, and client records for as long as we work together plus any period required by South African law (for example, tax records). After that, information is deleted.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask me at any time what information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how it is processed. Just send me a WhatsApp message. If you are not happy with my response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
Changes to this policy
If I ever change how I handle personal information, I will update this page and change the date at the top.
